First time to Wahaca yesterday and it was wonderful! Many thanks and thank you to our lovely waitress (alas can’t remember her name) who was charming. I can’t wait to come back, specially for the mango sorbet. Such a lively atmosphere and splendid food.

My partner and I now spend every Sunday lunch at Wahaca and this week the mixed selection was fantastic. I love this place and can’t recommend it highly enough, especially the hot sauce. Also, my chilli plants that I have grown from your seeds are now 2-3 feet high and producing their first chillis. With much love, Mark X

@Dee – We are delighted you had such a good time. The mango sorbet is one of our favourites in summer. Because you can’t remember who your waitress was we’ll just say well done to all the girls!

@Mark – This is great news. We’re thrilled you like the mixed selection. It’s best way to get a bit of everything. And even more excitingly, we’d love to see a picture or two of your chilli plants. Can you send us some to loswahacos@wahaca.co.uk?

Bring back mushrooms to your menu… you had some great recipes on your menu with them but they have all disappeared! :(

Hola! If you are in Oaxaca this week, I’d encourage you to visit Friday’s Pochimilco Market — http://www.flickr.com/photos/planeta/sets/7215762193693316 — and get directions for the Easter Sunday Ayuuk (Mixe) meal in Lachigolo.

Visited Wahaca at Westfield with friends last Thursday having recommended it to them after my first visit. We weren’t disappointed. We were treated like Royalty, as there was no table forthcoming(there was 8 of us)the manager opened upstairs to accomodate us. We had an excellent time and will be returning again(tonight in fact).

My fiancee and I are Wahaca addicts. As a Californian, I’m over the moon to find great Mexican food in London. We’re currently growing our own chilis (courtesy of Wahaca) at home and would LOVE to give the chili matchbooks out at our wedding. Can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier?

Hi Grace, we’re delighted you had a good time and thanks very much for such positive feedback. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

First visit to Wahaca today and we were really impressed. Food was fabulous, chicken mole tacos were out of this world – had to order three more! The atmosphere was buzzy but service was brilliant and our waiter was helpful, efficient and friendly. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Can’t wait until we can visit again.

Hi Jo, Thanks so much for getting in touch, it’s great to hear from our customers, especially when they give such possitive feedback. Which restaurant did you visit? It would be great if I can pass on your comments to the waiter who looked after you.

Thanks again and we’ll look forward to seeing you soon.

It looked wonderful when i came to visit on Saturday! But I was wondering why you didn’t have Tlayuda’s on your menu!
I chatted to your manager, and told him I am an artist living in Oaxaca the last 4 years, and would love it if you checked out some of my artwork on my website http://www.beverleyisaacs.com (Specially the section marked Fragmentos which are scenes of daily life in various villages in and around Oaxaca). Looking forward to coming in very soon with some friends.

Visited your Westfield restaurant, loved the food and the whole atmosphere. So much so I’m heading out to try your Covent Garden restaurant tonight with a group of friends!
One thing I’d like to ask is have you any plans to post some nutritional info about your food?
Please keep up the good work!

Hi Nicky,

Thanks so much for getting in touch, it’s very kind when people take the time to tell us about their visits to the restaurant.

At the moment we haven’t got exact nutritional values for our dishes but it is something that we are looking into researhing. Especially if it’s something that people are asking about, so thanks again for getting in touch.

Hope to see you again soon!

Thanks so much for the free food in Soho this Tuesday. We tried lots of new things, and will definitely be back for more savoy cabbage taquitos, and flan!

First time to Wahaca this Saturday, and I was totally blow away by awesome taste of the food! The “Street food” was best mex food I have ever tasted! Great service and a nice layout of the restaurant.
Waited at the cool downstairs bar, until our table was ready. Only 30min wait on a Saturday without booking.
Live in Denmark, but I´ll be sure to drop in next time I in town:)
Thanks for a killer food experience!!

Thanks Mark, it’s something we’re very proud of and something that we hope will become more and more popular in time. See you soon!

Hello!

I’m from Mexico (Baja California) and I’ve been living here in London for the last 3 years. During the first 2 years I spent a lot of time looking for how to replicate my beloved mexican food and wasn’t successful. It was until last year that I tried Wahaca and boy did I liked it! I can tell the food is made with passion, with a lot of respect and with joy. I just came back from Wahaca in Canary Wharf and as always the service was lovely and the food to die for. I even came back home with one of the yum salsas! A bargain for £2.50! I can’t thank you enough for your work! You make me happy every time =)

PS: Have you consider opening a branch in West Hampstead??? It’s a gorgeous place and we don’t have anything like you! Please??? Haha ;)
