Would love to show my husband the country I’ve been going on about since we met. A return trip is definitely overdue – even for the food alone!

this holiday would be a welcome break from my manic job in A&E. food is the simplest pleasure in life, combined with a cultural visit- well it can’t be topped. fingers crossed

My wife and I are great fans of Wahaca and try to visit whenever we are in London. We enjoy the vibrant atmosphere as well as the great food and drinks. Having bought Tommi’s book we recreated the wonderful Sangrita as well as many of the recipes. To go to Mexico and sample the origins of Wahaca’s success would be a fantastic treat for both of us.

We’re huge fans of Thomasina and Wahaca and visit whenever we can.
Sadly Wahaca has yet to make it to the East Midlands so our “Mexican Night” on Friday to usher in the weekend is now legendary. Recipes from Thomasinas book, a video and the kids safely in bed. It is heaven.
What can top it? Well next to food we love to travel and have new experiences.
To visit the place that inspired Thomasina and her team. To have that street food and get inspiration for our friday nights. To experience such a fantastic country would be a dream come true.
Good luck everyone.

My birthday 4th May. My kids have bought me Thomasina’s Mexican Food Made Simple. Can’t wait for the Wahaca book, I believe out 21st June? Met Thomasina at Bluewater at beginning of the year. She was so friendly & answered all our questions about Wahaca and her next trip to Mexico. My twin girls are 19 and we all love WAHACA. x

We absolutely love Mexican food & cook our favourite dishes with the help of my husbands chillie’s. Been to Wahaca once, picked up a chillie match box full of seeds on our way out, my husband said they grew into Serrano’s. All I know is they were very tasty! !
